The Cut-Through Masterclass
A practical one-day masterclass to help you structure your thinking, sharpen your message and make your ideas land.
London | 2 July 2026
Good ideas don’t always cut through.
You may have the insight, experience and expertise.
But when it comes to communicating your idea in a pitch, presentation, proposal, meeting or conversation the message can get crowded.
Too much context.
Too many caveats.
Too many things you are trying to say at once.
The real point gets buried.
Cut-through is not about saying more. It is about shaping the message so people can grasp it, remember it and act on it.
That is the focus of this masterclass.
The details…
Date: Thursday 2 July
Location: Central London
Time: 09:30-16:30
Group size: Limited to 8 people
Includes: One-day interactive masterclass, lunch, refreshments, tea and coffee, practical exercises, live feedback and time for questions
Investment: £997
This is a intimate, practical day, so places are deliberately limited.
Once the 8 places are gone, the room is full.
Is this for you?
This masterclass is for you if you have something important to communicate and want it to land with more clarity, confidence and impact.
You might be working on:
a pitch
a presentation
a proposal
an important meeting
a leadership message
a sales conversation
an idea, offer or point of view you need people to understand
It is especially useful if you are good at what you do, but know your message could be sharper, simpler and more memorable.
You do not need to arrive with a polished message.
Bring the early version. The messy version. The “I know there is something here, but I haven’t quite found the shape yet” version.
That is exactly what we will work with.
What you will work on…
The masterclass is built around the 6 Ds from Cut-Through: a practical process for turning an important idea into communication that lands.
During the day, you will apply them to a real message, pitch, presentation, proposal or conversation from your own world.
Discover
Get clear on the bigger picture before you start building the message. Why are you communicating this? Who needs to hear it? What do they care about? What do you need them to understand, feel or do?
Distil
Find the real point inside everything you could say. We will look at what belongs, what gets in the way, and how to reduce the noise so your message becomes clearer and stronger.
Design
Shape your thinking into a structure people can follow. You will work on the flow of your message, the way you open, the path you take people on, and how you build towards the point you want to land.
Drill
Take the message off the page and start testing it out loud. This is where you find what feels natural, what feels clunky, where the energy drops, and what needs to be sharpened before it matters.
Deliver
Look at how the message comes across in the room. We will work on emphasis, pace, energy and presence so you can hold attention and communicate with more confidence and control.
Debrief
Learn how to assess what is landing and what needs to change. You will get feedback, refine your approach and leave with a clearer sense of how to keep improving beyond the day.
This is not about creating a perfect script.
It is about building a repeatable process you can use whenever you need to communicate something important.
Bring something that matters. We will use the 6 Ds to help you make it clearer, sharper and more compelling.
A working masterclass, not a passive training day.
This will be a small room, not a big course.
A maximum of eight people. One whole day. Plenty of space to ask questions, try things, get feedback and work on something that actually matters to you.
You will not spend the day sitting at the back of the room, listening to theory and taking notes you never return to.
You will shape your thinking.
You will test your message.
You will say things out loud.
You will notice what lands and what gets lost.
You will make changes and try again.
That is the value of the room.
You learn from your own message, but also from watching other people shape theirs. Often, you see something in someone else’s example that helps you understand your own.
The aim is not perfection.
The aim is progress you can feel, hear and use.
What you will leave with…
You will leave with a clearer way of communicating something that matters to you.
That might mean:
a sharper message
a stronger structure
a better opening
a simpler way of explaining your idea
a more confident way of speaking up in a room
a process you can use again
Most importantly, you will leave with a stronger sense of what you are trying to say, why it matters, and how to help other people get it.
This is not about becoming someone else.
It is about being the best version of you, and making more of what is already there.
Why I’m running this masterclass.
Most of my work happens inside companies or one to one.
I work with leaders, founders, experts and teams who need to communicate clearly when it matters: in pitches, presentations, meetings, conversations and moments of influence.
Over the last 18 months, through writing and launching Cut-Through, I have been thinking deeply about what really makes communication land.
Again and again, I have seen that impact does not come from adding more polish. It comes from doing the work before you speak: finding the point, shaping the message, creating a structure people can follow, then practising it until it feels clear, natural and true.
I wanted to create a day where we could do that work properly.
In the room.
With real ideas.
With real feedback.
With enough space for people to make genuine progress.
This is the first time I have run something like this as an open masterclass, and I do not know if or when I will do it again.
That is why I am keeping it small.
Eight people. One day. A chance to work on how you communicate when it counts.
This may not be for you if…
You are looking for a passive day where you can sit at the back and simply listen.
You want generic presentation tips rather than working on your own ideas, messages and moments.
You are not open to feedback.
This is a small, practical room.
It will work best for people who are willing to think, contribute, ask questions, experiment and get involved.
